Qasr, which means assigning one thing to another and denying it to someone else, is one of the most used rhetorical styles in the Holy Qur'an, that God, in various subjects, according to the needs of the audience, to express his intention and understand its meaning more precisely, has used special ways of this style. Scholars of rhetoric have mentioned several divisions for the Qasr, in which more attention is paid to the sides of the Qasr. This research aims to present a new division for the Qasr based on the unity of the subject and the multiplicity of styles of the Qasr. Being careful in the verses containing Qasr styles, we notice that the theologian sometimes expresses a single topic in different ways, so that sometimes by using one Qasr style, he expresses his intended meaning, and on the other hand, sometimes he uses more than several styles in a single context or contexts. This can be seen as a means for a new division of the Qasr. This research aims to present the said division, and with a descriptive-analytical method, to answer questions such as, what new ways of rhetoric of Qasr styles can be proposed in the word of revelation. With a comparative analysis of overlapping, consecutive, and dispersed types of Qasr, it is determined with the Qur'anic evidence that the two elements of the unity of the subject and the context play an essential role in the definition of the compound Qasr; Also, the scope of the context determines the types of compound Qasr.
