The researcher seeks to answer these questions: What are the meanings of the word "righteous" in the Holy Quran? What does righteous deed mean in the Qur'an? The results of the research indicate that the word "righteous" in the Qur'an has different meanings. From the perspective of the Holy Qur'an and by examining different interpretations of commentators, it became clear that all interpretations agree on the belief that the righteous have a high position in the Qur'an. Given the goodness of nature, its value and dignity are higher than the goodness of action, and because of that, Prophet Soleiman first asked to succeed in righteous action and then asked to give his inherent goodness. in fact, he graded his requests and went from the bottom to the highest demands. Good deeds alone are not enough and joining a group of righteous people is important. Sometimes the deed is righteous, but the result is deviant and human being does not end up doing well and although the deed is righteous, there is a kind of one_ sidedness in it and human being is not willing to be with God's servants. پژوهش حاضر مطالعه‌ای توصیفی‌تحلیلی است. در این پژوهش، لفظ و مفهوم صالح و مقام صالحین در قرآن کریم بررسی شده‌اند. پژوهشگر در پی پاسخگویی به این پرسش‌هاست که واژه «صالح» در قرآن کریم چه مفاهیمی را در بر می‌گیرد و عمل صالح در قرآن به چه معناست. نتایج پژوهش نشان دادند واژه «صالح» در قرآن، معانی مختلفی را در بر می‌گیرد. از منظر قرآن کریم و تفاسیر مختلف، مشخص شد تمامی تفاسیر بر این عقیده‌اند که صالحین دارای مقام و جایگاه والایی ازنظر قرآن هستند. با توجه به اینکه صلاح ذات، قدر و منزلتش بالاتر از صلاح عمل است و چون چنین است، پس اینکه حضرت سلیمان اول درخواست کرد که موفق به عمل صالح شود و سپس درخواست کرد صلاح ذاتی‌اش دهد، درحقیقت درخواست‌هاى خود را درجه‌‌بندى کرده و از پایین گرفته به سوى بالاترین درخواست‌ها رفته است. کارصالح به‌تنهایی کافی نیست و ورود به گروه صالحان مهم است. گاهی کار صالح است، ولی عاقبت انحرافی پیش می‌آید و شخص عاقبت به خیر نمی‌شود. گاهی کار صالح است، ولی یک نوع تک‌روی در آن است و شخص حاضر نیست با بندگان خدا همراه باشد. https://nrgs.ui.ac.ir/article_27377_65e8e83ab7fd62672f1fa37a5be91bc8.pdf
