The word has never been semantically investigated despite the terminologists, interpreters, and the scientists’ attempts. The word has been used in the Quran 16 times in 15 signs. This research has explained the meaning of “fo’ad” as well as the extraction of its semantic components from Quran through an analytic perspective. The investigation of the signs where the word has been used showed that the word, in its Koranic use, has the meaning of “heart” in the paradigmatic axis whereas it has such meaning as “تثبیت” (= confirmation), “هوی (=vagary), “ربط” (=relation) in the syntagmatic axis. The exploration of the semantic components of “fo’ad” results in the reflection of the pure Koranic cognitions in a more effective way so that the God’s servants find their life way and are showed a specific ideology. واژۀ «فؤاد» یکی از مهم­ترین مفاهیم قرآنی است که نظر و تدبّر هر اندیشمند قرآنی را به خود جلب می­کند. این واژه تاکنون به­رغم تلاش­های برخی لغویون، مفسرین و علما، با رویکرد معناشناسانه بررسی نشده است. کاربرد این واژه در قرآن کریم 16 مرتبه در 15 آیه هست. این پژوهش با روش معناشناسی که نگاه تحلیلی و دقیق به متن است، به‌تبیین معنای «فؤاد» و استخراج مؤلّفه­های معنایی آن از قرآن کریم پرداخته است. بررسی آیاتی که واژۀ «فؤاد» در آن به­کار رفته است این‌گونه نشان داد که این کلمه در کاربرد قرآنی بر محور جانشینی و تا حدودی تقابل، با مفهوم قلب و بر محور هم­نشینی با مفاهیمی مثل تثبیت، هوی، ربط و... در یک حوزۀ معنایی قرار می­گیرد. کشف مؤلّفه­های معنایی «فؤاد» سبب تجلّی بیشتر معارف ناب قرآنی برای روشنی راه عبد خداوند متعال و نشان‌دادن جهان­بینی خاص و نظام­مند قرآن کریم است. https://nrgs.ui.ac.ir/article_21128_73ca38f340d2464c311bcc4d212ff1c1.pdf
