Journal Article 2016 06 14 In the history of Quran interpretation in different schools of interpretation, we are dealing with understanding and comprehending of Quran verses, in which each of these schools formed on the basis of a background, roots, and factors on one hand, and on the other hand, each of them has had some impacts on Islamic thought school. Among the various schools of interpretation, we investigate a major and quite distinct school that has some sub-schools and talk about its principles. This is called exoteric interpretation school which has existed during Islamic history and a lot of people have been under its umbrella. When we talk about exoteric interpretation, we mean the interpretation which is based on verbal contracts or intellectual reasoning. The literalist schools are those schools that are based on surface structure of Quran verses and verbal referent. Therefore, this school is the opposite of inner school which is not exoteric. Thus, the idea of exoteric interpretation school is a general concept which can be referred to any school that is based on this idea. This school includes various spectra and we review the most important ones. <strong> </strong> در تاریخ تفسیر قرآن شاهد مکاتب مختلف تفسیری در باب فهم و برداشت آیات الهی هستیم که از یک سو، هر کدام در بستر و ریشه‌ها و عواملی شکل گرفته و از دیگر سو، هر یک از آنها، آثار و تأثیرات خود را بر حوزه اندیشة اسلامی بر جای گذاشته است. در این مقاله از میان مکاتب مختلف و فراوان تفسیری، به بررسی مکتبی عمده و کاملاً متمایز که خود شامل مکاتب فرعی دیگری می‌شود، پرداخته و در بارة مبانی آن سخن خواهیم گفت. این مکتب که در طول زمان و تاریخ اسلام به حیات خود ادامه داده و افراد زیادی را زیر لوای خود گرفته، عبارت است از مکتب تفسیر ظاهری. مراد از تفسیر ظاهری، تفسیری است که بر اساس وضع و قراردادهای لفظی و یا دلالت‌های عقلی انجام گیرد و مکاتب ظاهرگرا، مکاتبی هستند که استناد به ظاهر آیات و مدلول لفظی آنها را در تفسیر قرآن، لازم می‌دانند. از این رو، این مکتب در مقابل مکتب باطنی - غیرظاهری- قرار دارد. بنابراین، عنوان مکتب تفسیر ظاهری، عنوان عامی است که بر هر مکتب و نظریه‌ای که با این مبنا به تفسیر بپردازد، اطلاق می‌شود. این مکتب، طیف‌های گوناگونی را شامل می‌شود که مهمترین آنها را یادآوری می‌کنیم. https://nrgs.ui.ac.ir/article_17145_4ffe8e87460c8c3b3ade943af53c3b6f.pdf
